New Family Resource Coordinator/Director Joining Our Team

Michelle

Bridge of Hope York is pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle Keadle-Taylor to the position of Family Resource Coordinator/Director for its York office.  Michelle worked in journalism and  extensively in corporate communications management before a powerful encounter with God brought a passion and new direction to work with  young, single mothers and their children.

After five years working with young women in crisis pregnancies, she became the Community Relations Manager for Bridges of Hope, a local outreach in Northern Virginia that helped single young mothers and their children.  As a result of that experience, she pursued a Master’s in Christian Counseling and has been involved in pastoral  counseling and prayer ministry for almost ten years.

Michelle brings a desire to see women and their children healed and empowered by the love of God to fulfill their destinies and become financially independent and reach the goals they set for themselves.

Michelle has a husband and three children, ranging in age from 11 to seven.  She also loves outdoor activities such as running, swimming, and hiking.  She speaks Spanish, runs seminars with her husband to help heal the effects of fatherlessness and helps coach high school cross country.

Welcome Michelle!  We look forward to seeing the great things God will use you for in this ministry!

Community Aid Bins Help End Homelessness

Did you know that by donating your clothes, shoes, purses, hats, belts, drapes, rugs, sheets, blankets, etc that you can help to prevent and end homelessness for mothers and children? Yes, You Can!  We have developed a team of people to work with local businesses, shopping malls, churches and other parking lots to place these bins. For every pound of donated items Bridge of Hope of York County will get  four cents per pound. I know that doesn’t sound like much but over time with several bins placed all over the county, it can make a huge difference.  Our bins are located a Cityview Community Church, 1655 Roosevelt Ave., York and Friendship Community Church, 3380 Fox Run Rd., Dover.
